Denver Absorbs 5-2 Loss to Minneapolis
|
Minneapolis and Denver duked it out and the Vikings came out victorious.
Minneapolis parlayed a decent outing from starter Hector Moreno into a solid win over the Denver Glaciers. The final score was 5-2. Phil Payne earned the save for Minneapolis, his 25th.
Alex Medina chipped in a grand slam home run for Minneapolis in the bottom of the first. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Minneapolis skipper Ace Cooan.
