The Montreal Harfangs defeated the New York Titans, 8-6, at Polo Grounds II. Pedro Marcial was a standout performer for Montreal. His 3 hits included 2 singles and 1 double -- this in addition to the 1 run he scored and 2 he knocked in. Derich Rucker, now 3-2, was credited with the win in 1.2 innings of relief. Tae-kyun Choi drove in one run for Montreal. The 28-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With no one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Stephen Keane. It was his 9th RBI of the season.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Choi said after the game.
