The Toronto Juggernauts got a strong performance from pitcher Fisko Loera, who stymied the Chicago offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Foster Field. In 8 innings, Loera surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. He allowed 2 runs. Julio Soto earned the save for Toronto, his 18th of the year.

Toronto won the game in part because of Juan Besinaiz. The first baseman ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Juggernauts ahead, 4-2. For the game, Besinaiz had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
