Orta Hurls 9-0 Masterpiece
|
Pavel Orta was in a zone of his own most of the day, shutting out the Washington Senators on 2 hits.
"He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Washington manager Josh Cooan after the 9-0 loss to the New York Titans.
Orta finished with 8 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing.
In the postgame press conference, New York manager Nate Beckman said Orta "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off."
