Thunderbirds Rally to Nose Past Los Angeles
The Phoenix Thunderbirds used a great performance from Aaron Kopta, who leads the WC in quality starts with 5, to beat the Los Angeles Stars, 2-1, at Legednary Park. With the loss, Los Angeles falls to 13-10.

Phoenix took a 2-1 lead on Cody McLaughlin's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which McLaughlin hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Los Angeles pitcher Juan Fonseca visibly frustrated.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said McLaughlin.
