Guilzar Blasts 3 Home Runs in 9-4 Dragons Win
The Portland Dragons finished off the Seattle Arrows, 9-4. Much of the credit belonged to first baseman Alex Guilzar. Guilzar slugged 3 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring three times for the Dragons. Bertrand Ivory was the winner. He's now 2-3. The loser was five-time All-Star Honey Geier. Justin Kurth wrapped it up, recording his 2nd save.

With Portland leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Guilzar hit a changeup from Honey Geier for a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Dragons ahead, 3-0.

"You work hard, day in and day out, hoping to give the fans something to cheer about. Today was a good day," Guilzar told the Portland Observer.

Portland goes to 11-12.
