Despite the exploits of pinch hitter Frank Lung, the Houston Aquas were beaten by the Las Vegas Aces, 9-6, in 11 innings. Lung was 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Aquas fall to 11-16 and continue their rocky start to the 2085 season.

Sardis Abrego came through with a big-time hit for Las Vegas. The left fielder smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to give his team the lead, 9-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Abrego told the Las Vegas Today.
