Thunderbirds Win 4-3 Nail-Biter Versus Aces
Despite a great performance by Las Vegas right fielder Lanny Tabares, the Phoenix Thunderbirds defeated the Aces by the score of 4-3 in 11 innings at Legednary Park. Tabares went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Phoenix, now 12-18, is off to a slow start.

The decisive blow was delivered by Nick Majors in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a solo home run off 31-year old right-handed pitcher Shao-zu An to win the game for Phoenix. The home crowd went nuts.

"It was a good effort all around," said Majors.
