The Washington Senators outscored the Philadelphia Spectres, 19-11. Sung-hyo Kym led the way, going 4-for-6 for Washington. Pablo Alvarez, who led the EC in strikeouts with 252 in 2076, was the winning pitcher. Over 5.1 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts.
