Portland Ruins Terrific Game by Yamanaka
The Las Vegas Aces outlasted Hideji Yamanaka and the Portland Dragons, 8-6. Yamanaka was impressive in the loss. The Portland right fielder went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Jimmy Hsia got the save, the 4th for him this season. Las Vegas has now won 4 games in a row.

Las Vegas right fielder Juan Carrizales contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a slider to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 36th hit of the season and put the Aces ahead, 6-0.

"We're playing like we're capable of," said Las Vegas manager Justin Coroian.
