Jaramillo Plays Big Role in Washington Win
|
Starting pitcher Bobby Jaramillo had a solid game. He was a big reason the Washington Senators throttled the Portland (E) Lobster, 1-0. The save went to Keung King, his 2nd this season. The 'W' lifts Washington's record to 64-54.
Jaramillo made it look effortless. He scattered 2 hits over 8 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The Washington right-hander encountered little resistance from the Portland (E) hitters. His season record is now 6-5.
"We did just enough to win," Jaramillo said.
