Greens Get Hard-Earned Win
|
Denver pitcher Taxi Sabala gave the Greens all they could handle, but in the end, Boston left Mountain Dew Park with a win, 2-1. Sabala allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 7 innings. At 53-63, the Greens find themselves in last place in the Eastern Conference Antonio Detorres Division.
Boston used a timely hit from Jonathan Farfan to get the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Greens ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"We found a way to win tonight," Farfan said.
