Due in large part to second baseman Ricky Rangel, the Alaska Kodiaks sunk the Houston Aquas, 3-2. Rangel went 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Alaska.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Rangel hit a fastball from Armando Montoya for a run-scoring double. The Kodiaks, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The crowd was juiced," said Rangel.
