In a tight game between the Las Vegas Aces and the Minneapolis Vikings, pitcher Eliecer Cervantes was terrific on the mound. The Las Vegas right-hander helped his team to the 1-0 win. Las Vegas reliever Mike Pechtel got the win, raising his record to 4-1. Johnny Wickwire was tagged with the loss. The third-place Aces have won 4 consecutive games.

Jesus Fraio electrified the crowd in the bottom of the tenth when he took Minneapolis pitcher Johnny Wickwire deep. His solo home run sent the Aces home winners.

Fraio said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
