|
The New York Titans besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Maine shortstop Hector Ferran by beating the Lobster, 8-3, at Polo Grounds II. Ferran went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. The winning pitcher was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Tadeu Carneira. He tossed 101 pitches over 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits.
