Dragons Saddle Harfangs with 6-1 Loss
The Portland Dragons trumped the Montreal Harfangs, 6-1, at Portland Park. Portland first baseman Alex Guilzar was terrific. He was 2 for 4 with a double. Leonardo Merejo snagged the win in relief. In 1.2 innings, the right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits. He's now 2-1 on the season. The Dragons now have a record of 75-45 with the win over Montreal.

One pivotal at-bat came with two out in the top of the third. With the bases loaded and Montreal trailing 6-1, Leonardo Merejo needed to bear down against Oliverios Garduno. Merejo won the battle, as Garduno grounded out and the Dragons went on to win.
