Friars Suffer 7-1 Loss to Denver

The Denver Glaciers went home winners at Mountain Dew Park, thanks in large part to starter Dryden Ice. Ice stifled the San Francisco Friars, enabling Denver to grab the 7-1 win. After today's action, Denver sits at 59-61, while San Francisco falls to 62-59.
The Glaciers got a big at-bat from first baseman Ko Kuroda. For the game, Kuroda was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 29th home run of the season gave Denver a 3-0 lead.
"I think it speaks for itself, I think we came out and we played our kind of baseball," said Ice.
