Gheldere Shines in 13-6 Denver Win
The Denver Glaciers trumped the Houston Aquas, 13-6, at Mountain Dew Park. Denver shortstop Martyn Gheldere was terrific. He was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The 4th-place Glaciers improved to 59-63.

Denver took the lead, 10-6, on Alexjandria Leija's 5th home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Houston pitcher David Cruz in the bottom of the eighth.

"We've got some hairy guys on our side, too," said Denver manager Todd Bleess.
