Bingham, Kings Too Much for Thunderbirds
|
The Baltimore Kings topped the Phoenix Thunderbirds by a score of 6-1. Leading the way was left fielder Joe Bingham. Bingham went 3-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Kings. Their 55-66 record puts the Kings 4th in the Eastern Conference Jose Santovenia Division.
Bingham had a key at-bat for Baltimore early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and gave Baltimore an early 1-0 lead.
"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Bingham told the Baltimore Times.
