Erazo Leads New York Past Minneapolis
New York got a first-rate effort from pitcher Luis Erazo, who frustrated Minneapolis hitters en route to a 2-0 Titans triumph at Polo Grounds II. Ricardo Alas recorded his 26th save for New York. New York, at 85-37, is cruising.

Erazo delivered a quality start for New York. The 6-foot-1 right-hander allowed no earned runs on 2 hits over 7.1 innings of work.

"Luis's fastball had teeth on it," said New York manager Nate Beckman.
