The St. Louis Gaedels had their hands full with Tucson Toros starter Felix Talamantez, who frustrated St. Louis hitters while leading Tucson to a comfortable, 8-0 win. With the win, the Toros have a record of 74-48.

Tucson used the hitting of Erleisi Linares to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Toros on top, 3-0. For the game, Linares had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Felix executed his pitches at a high level," said Tucson manager Rick Barnes.
