The San Antonio Angels beat the Alaska Kodiaks by a score of 5-1. San Antonio first baseman Pablo Valdez deserved the lion's share of the credit. Valdez was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Angels. Bill Spotton, the winner, is now 4-7.
