Friars Fall Short at Denver, 5-4
The Denver Glaciers did just enough to nip the San Francisco Friars, 5-4, in 10 innings. Denver pitcher Kyle Cordle, in particular, had a standout performance. The Glaciers saw their win-loss record go to 60-64. At the same time, the Friars fell to 62-62.

The decisive blow was delivered by Wei Huang in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Jose Alonzo to win the game for Denver. The home crowd went nuts.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Huang.
