Cyclones Triumphant, 6-2, at Bison Stadium
|
Riding the 3-hit performance of the slugging left fielder Cody Daniels, the Miami Cyclones defeated the Buffalo Rangers, 6-2. Taju Fuhuoh picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-2. He struck out 4 in 5 innings. The 4th-place Cyclones lifted their record to 62-60.
Miami used a clutch at-bat from Todd Kozuch to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Cyclones ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"The key is not trying to do too much," said Daniels.
