Denver Glaciers starter James L'Hommedieu had all his pitches working at Mountain Dew Park. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 9-2 Denver win over the Vancouver Wolves. Denver is 62-62 and Vancouver, with the loss, 56-68.

The Wolves had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Glaciers going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old center fielder Jason Gonzalez came to the plate. Gonzalez hit a 2-run home run on a 0-1 fastball from Vancouver hurler Andres Carrasquillo. It was Gonzalez's 18th home run of the year.

Said losing manager Matt Libid: "We had a bad night. It happens."
