Tucson Beats Washington, 7-3
The 7-3 Tucson win over Washington was due in large part to Mike McKasson. The Toros left fielder was 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Miguel Moquete got the win, improving to 8-5. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 1. Tucson sits in third place in the Western Conference Najera Division at 63-62.

Tucson won the game in part because of Raul Samaniego. The center fielder ripped a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Toros ahead, 3-0. For the game, Samaniego had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," McKasson told the Tucson Today.
