The Denver Glaciers knocked off the Vancouver Wolves, 10-3, in Western Conference action at Mountain Dew Park. Denver pitcher and San Buenaventura, California, native Dryden Ice had an outstanding performance. Ice, the winner, moves to 10-4. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up 2 walks. The Wolves, now 56-69, have lost 4 straight.

Ryan McCray had a big 2-run double for the Glaciers in the bottom of the second inning. With Denver leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Ben Flint, who finished 3rd in the WC in innings pitched with 215.0 in 2072, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Glaciers ahead, 3-0.
