The Boston Greens did just enough to sneak past the Havana Metropolitanos, 6-5, at Arrington Park. Boston pitcher Shaun Chugh, in particular, had a standout performance. Chugh, the winner, moves to 10-5. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up no walks. Raudel Hernandez sewed up the save, his 10th.
Ray Farr had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the third for Boston. With the bases loaded and the Greens leading 3-2, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"That's what I love about baseball," said Farr. "No matter how good or how bad you did, you get to wake up the next day and start all over."
The Greens go to 68-57, putting them second in the Eastern Conference Zach Gavula Division.
