Montreal Harfangs starter Buddy Verveer found his groove in his team's 4-3 win over the Maine Lobster. Montreal's record now stands at 46-80, placing them last in the Eastern Conference Zach Gavula Division.

Bryan McKillip dealt the Lobster a blow in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Montreal leading 3-1, McKillip hit a first pitch curveball for a run-scoring single.

"I went after the hitters," said Verveer. "No pussyfooting around."
