Taxi Sabala, who finished 3rd in the WC in innings pitched with 223.1 in 2077, had a strong outing for the Tucson Toros against the Boston Greens at Aetna Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-1 win. The winning pitcher was Sabala, now 4-3. He tossed 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 8. Tucson now sports a record of 16-22.

Isaac Butzer had a big 2-run home run for the Toros in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Tucson leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a changeup from R.J. Mendenhall, who finished 4th in the WC in strikeouts with 215 in 2076, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Toros on top, 4-0.

"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Butzer.
