Philadelphia Loses, 3-2, to Brooklyn in 10
|
Brown Town was rocking after an exciting Browns win.
The Brooklyn Browns faced a tenacious opponent in Philadelphia pitcher Alberto Zamora, but still scratched out a win at Brown Town by a final score of 3-2 in 10 innings. Zamora went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. Chris Bender notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 2-0.
The Browns got a clutch hit from first baseman Jose Buezo. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Browns.
"This place was electric at the end," Buezo said.
