Minneapolis starter Joseph Stark ran into little resistance from Santiago hitters, as his team cruised to victory, 9-0. With the victory, the Vikings upped their record to 25-14.

Early in the game, center fielder Marvin Jackson had a grand slam home run for Minneapolis. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Vikings on top, 4-0.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Stark.
