Kodiaks Lose Big to Twins, 11-0
|
The Cincinnati Twins soundly defeated the Alaska Kodiaks, 11-0, at Tundradome. Cristovão Alvelo, who finished 5th in the EC in doubles with 46 last year, let his bat do the talking. He went 4 for 6 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5 for Cincinnati. Their 62-66 record puts the Twins third in the Eastern Conference Muldoom O'Mulmohery Division.
In the top of the second, with the game still scoreless, Alvelo hit a 2-run single to put his team in the lead.
"The Twins definitely had our number," said Alaska manager Alex King.
