Toros Handed 7-2 Loss by Vancouver

At Aetna Stadium, the Tucson Toros and Vancouver Wolves were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Vancouver got a strong outing from Hyun-koo Ka as the Wolves defeated the Tucson Toros, 7-2, at Aetna Stadium. Ka got the win, improving to 7-4. He gave up 3 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run.
Second Baseman Minoru Kume made an impact for Vancouver, when he swatted a run-scoring triple off Tony Masso in the top of the third. For the contest, Kume was 2-2 with a triple, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Hyun-koo gave us everything he had," said Vancouver manager Zach Meinen.
The Wolves now own a record of 57-73.
