Ray Garcia had a hand in Montreal defeating Buffalo by the score of 11-6. Garcia went 2 for 4 at the plate, scoring 2 times and driving in 3 runs. Montreal reliever Victor Pargas picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Mike Blain absorbed the loss. The first-place Harfangs, at 69-60, now lead their division by 3½ games.

Julio Morales went 1-4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 times for Montreal. The 33-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jelmar Voskuil. It was his 44th walk of the season.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Morales.
