The Portland Dragons had to overcome a fine effort from New York pitcher Keiyo Nagao to win, 5-3, at Portland Park. Nagao went 7 innings and allowed no runs. Portland pitcher Luke Torres got the win. He's now 3-2. Pierre Prent was tagged with the loss. Portland is now 67-63.

Portland got a knockout punch from Matt Craddock. The pinch hitter hammered a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
