The Vancouver Wolves tallied a win at Aetna Stadium, throttling the Tucson Toros, 4-2. Starting pitcher Juan Pinon was a big reason for his team's success. Pinon, the winner, moves to 8-10. He threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 4 walks. Nick Campbell finished to wrap up his 4th save.

Vancouver took a 4-2 lead on Yuan Zhu's 14th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Zhu hit in the top of the eighth, left Tucson pitcher Fidel Flores visibly frustrated.

"I just tried to put the barrel on it," said Zhu.

After today's action, Vancouver sits at 58-73; Tucson slips to 67-64.
