Sanchez Hits 2 home runs in Dragons Win
|
Behind a solid performance from center fielder Felix Sanchez, the Portland Dragons defeated the Las Vegas Aces, 5-2. Sanchez went 4-5 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for the Dragons. The Aces, at 61-71, have lost 4 in a row.
Portland took a 4-2 lead on Sanchez's 26th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which he hit off Cesar Lobatos in the top of the seventh, propelled Portland to the win.
Said losing manager Justin Coroian: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."
