With Late Score, Rangers Beat Juggernauts
The Buffalo Rangers picked up a win at Molson Park, dropping the Toronto Juggernauts, 4-3, in 10 innings. Allan Tinter, who is tied for 8th in the EC in innings pitched with 163.1, was the difference-maker. Nees van Santen, 6-2, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. The win for the Rangers raised their record to 72-61.

Buffalo won the game in part because of Ricky Rangel. The second baseman ripped a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rangers ahead, 4-3. For the game, Rangel had 2 doubles and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Buffalo field general Alex Beckman.
