Destroyers Lose Despite Valiant Effort by Tenorio
The Denver Glaciers weathered an outstanding game by San Diego catcher Carlos Tenorio to topple the Destroyers, 10-5. Tenorio went 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Raul Garibaldi, the winner, is now 12-10. He struck out 7 and walked 1 over 5.2 innings, while allowing 3 runs on 6 hits. Denver improves to 74-59 with the win. They lead their division by 2½ games.

Alex Guilzar hit a 2-run double off Fish Rablood in the top of the fifth, which put the Glaciers in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Guilzar had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.

"We came out aggressive," said Glaciers manager Todd Bleess. "We came out swinging the bats."
