Gideon has 3 hits in Spectres Win
|
Good production from designated hitter Ron Gideon helped the Philadelphia Spectres topple the Minneapolis Vikings, 11-6. Gideon was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Spectres. With the win, the Spectres hiked their record to 72-61.
Early in the game, right fielder Xavier Santa had a bases-clearing double for Philadelphia. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Spectres on top, 4-1.
"We got the victory," said Gideon. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
