Phantoms Lose Again, 11-3, to Friars
The San Francisco Friars licked the Chicago Phantoms, 11-3. Sean Oehlert deserved a big chunk of the credit. The left fielder was 3 for 5 with a triple and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Friars. The winning pitcher was Kelvin Vaquera. He's now 9-12. He went 6.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 11 hits for the Friars. Earning the save was Chris Mayea. He's now cashed in 11 of 12 save opportunities.

San Francisco third baseman Ken Draves contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 45th hit of the season and put the Friars ahead, 4-0.
