Las Vegas Aces starter B.J. Baker pitched well against the Vancouver Wolves at Western Coliseum, leading his team to a win, 5-3. The Aces raised their record to 63-72.

The Aces got a big at-bat from catcher Alex Artiaga. For the game, Artiaga went 1-3 with a double and was hit by a pitch. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 8th double of the season gave Las Vegas a 4-3 lead.

"We take it day by day here," said Artiaga, "and today was a good one for us."
