Biair Now 14-8 Following 4-0 Win
|
The first-place Santiago Avispas picked up another win.
Jimmy Biair, who is tied for 5th in the EC with a 1.09 WHIP, never let the Titans get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Avispas to a win, 4-0. The Avispas own a robust 88-46 mark.
Santiago starter Jimmy Biair pitched like a boss. The 6-foot-2 right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 8 innings.
"Jimmy gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to," said Santiago skipper Jacob Pauly.
