Senators Defeat Gaedels, 8-6
The Washington Senators got a hard-earned win over the St. Louis Gaedels, 8-6, in 12 innings. Alex Tejeda provided some offensive muscle for Washington. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Washington reliever Dominic Hogg picked up the win, upping his record to 5-2. Dave Valenzuela was saddled with the loss. Washington is in last place in the Eastern Conference Muldoom O'Mulmohery Division with a record of 55-81.

Washington needed the clutch hitting of Kiyomi Yoshimura to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Senators on top, 8-6. For the game, Yoshimura had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
