Late Offense Lifts Vancouver to 6-2 Victory
Vancouver picked up a win at Western Coliseum, bumping off the Las Vegas Aces, 6-2. Pitcher Juan Pinon was a major reason the Wolves emerged victorious. Pinon, now 9-10, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. The third-place Aces dropped to 63-73.

Tony Bosques came through with a big-time hit for Vancouver. The designated hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 5-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Vancouver manager Zach Meinen said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
