Big Day at the Plate for Yamanaka Not Enough for Dragons
The Seattle Arrows overcame a good performance by Portland right fielder Hideji Yamanaka to knock off Portland, 13-11, at Power Ballpark. Yamanaka went 4-5 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Aaron Narduzzi earned save number 24 this season. Seattle, at 66-71, sits in 4th place in the Western Conference Eric Wise Division.

Ray Farr hit a bases-clearing triple off Oscar Chavez in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Arrows in front, 5-4. Farr had 2 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 3 for 5.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Farr told the Seattle Daily.
