The Kansas City Athletics could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Alex Laso into a win. Instead, the Havana Metropolitanos prevailed, 3-1. Laso threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball. At 59-78, the Metropolitanos claim last place in the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division.

Hyuk Park had a big 2-run double for the Metropolitanos in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Havana leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a splitter from Alex Laso, who finished 5th in the EC in wins with 15 in 2081, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 21st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Metropolitanos ahead, 3-0.

Park attributed the win to his team's "concerted effort."
