7-1 Loss Deepens Montreal Funk
|
Starting pitcher Motoaki Tajiri had a solid game. He was a big reason the Baltimore Kings throttled the Montreal Harfangs, 7-1. Tajiri got the win, improving to 2-1. He gave up 2 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. He allowed 1 run. The Kings have an impressive 85-54 record.
Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at AT&T Park seemed to enjoy watching the Eastern Conference action.
"I wish I had a genie in a bottle," said losing manager Brendan Henry. "First thing I'd ask for is a win."
