The Santiago Avispas beat the Boston Greens, 9-6, at Arrington Park. Homer Hanes, who finished 2nd in the EC in home runs with 40 in 2081, starred for Santiago. He went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. The Avispas sit in first place in the Eastern Conference Zach Gavula Division with a record of 89-48.

Santiago won the game in part because of Daichi Sakai. The center fielder ripped a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Avispas ahead, 4-2. For the game, Sakai had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
