The Los Angeles Stars got a superb performance from pitcher Kingsley Bozek, but the Phoenix Thunderbirds still won the game, 5-4. Bozek threw 6.0 innings allowing 3 runs. Sumiki Kono, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2076 draft, was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-2. The losing pitcher was Hector Bazaldua. Phoenix has run its win streak to 6 straight.
Erleisi Valido hit a run-scoring double off Touta Kubo in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Thunderbirds in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Valido had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
